Job summary

Saint Alphonsus is seeking an RN for the Orthopedic Med/Surg 5N Unit in Boise, Idaho. This 24-bed unit cares for a mix of orthopedic, medical and surgical patients across adults and geriatrics requiring acute care. Self-schedule: Part Time Nights, three 12-hour shifts weekly, rotating weekends.

The role introduces a new care model with Virtual RNs, bedside RNs and CNAs, offering growth into Emergency Room and Critical Care specialties within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Multistate licenses must establish Idaho residency within 60 days from hire.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team for assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilizes resources wisely to promote physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Performs delegation, assessment, care planning, and patient-family education as part of a broad scope of duties.
