Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Nampa, Idaho is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Ortho Medical/Surgical Unit. This 36-bed unit treats medical, surgical and orthopedic patients with a wide range of conditions, including wound care and minor trauma.

Self Schedule: Full Time Days, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 to 7, with rotating weekends. Growth opportunities into ER and Critical Care within a collaborative care model.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire
• BLS certification required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care in collaboration with health care team for ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilizes resources to promote physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Performs a broad range of duties including delegation, assessment, planning of care, and patient/family education.
