Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Med/Surg 5N Unit. This part-time night position offers three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 to 7, with rotating weekends.

The unit supports a collaborative Together Care Team Model including Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs to foster growth into ER and Critical Care specialties. You will provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team, participate in ongoing assessment and

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team for assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilizes resources to promote physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being while delivering hands-on care.
• Performs delegation, assessment, planning of care and patient/family education across adult to geriatric populations.
