Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Ortho Med/Surg Unit (5N), a 24-bed unit caring for surgical patients and ED admissions. Self Schedule: Full Time, Three 12-hour shifts a week, 7pm - 7am. Rotating weekends. This position is eligible for a Sign On Bonus and Relocation Assistance!

You will collaborate with the health care team to provide comprehensive nursing care and support families, promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team for ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Performs in a broad range of capacities including delegation, assessment, care planning, teaching patients and families.
