Qualifications

• 1 year minimum OR experience in a hospital operating room.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education for peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Assist in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in OR.
• Apply nursing process and critical thinking to provide safe care.
• Monitor patient condition and document changes.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and follow-up.
