Job summary

UT Health Tyler is seeking a day shift, full-time RN Supervisor in Tyler, TX to lead the Main Operating Room team and ensure efficient, safe patient care. The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience, plus BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

You will supervise staff, coordinate clinical services, and partner with OR leadership to uphold UT Health Tyler's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required; nursing degree/credentialing held.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or staff management experience required.
• Current Texas RN License; BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support and organize the Main Operating Room operations; assist in administration of clinical services.
• Direct, supervise and act as a resource to OR staff alongside the OR Manager.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care through teamwork and adherence to UT Health Tyler standards.
