Job summary

UT Health Tyler is seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor for the Main Operating Room in Tyler, TX. The role focuses on organizing and administering clinical services, guiding OR staff, and collaborating with the OR Manager to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of supervisory experience, Texas RN licensure, and BLS certification within two weeks of hire. BSN and CNOR are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Associate Degree, and graduation from an Accredited Nursing School are required.
• One to two years of supervisory and staff management experience is required.
• Current Texas RN License is required; BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• BSN and CNOR are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• The Supervisor of the Main Operating Room will support the Mission, Vision and Values of the UT Health Organization.
• This position is responsible for assisting in the organization and administration of clinical services within the Main Operating Room.
• They direct, supervise and function as a resource to all staff in the Main Operating Room alongside the OR Manager.
