Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse Service Line Coordinator (Unit Coordinator) for the Main OR. This full-time, first shift role runs 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with occasional on-call for PTO coverage.

Ideal candidates have scrub, circulation, or procedural experience in sterile fields. The duties include coordinating service-line instruments, participating in staff interviews, educating staff, and ensuring OR readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) is required.
• MSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service line instruments & equipment for assigned lines.
• Provide service line education and staff interviews.
• Ensure rooms with your specialty are ready for the day.
• Collaborate with surgeons and vendors to manage supply needs and costs.
• Support precepting of staff and participate in line/process updates.
