A skilled nursing community in Portage, Wisconsin is seeking a clinically competent Registered Nurse to assume responsibility for patient care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include administering medications, supervising LPNs and CNAs, and collaborating with the care team. Qualifications

• Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active RN license in state of Wisconsin or licensed in any U.S state and be eligible for Wisconsin licensure by reciprocity (in good standing).
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care per care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Assess residents and report changes promptly.
• Document care in the EMR.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

Job Summary:

A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients/residents through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention,implementationand evaluation. Effectively interacts with patients/residents, family members, responsiblepartyand other health team members, whilemaintainingstandards of professional nursing. The RN plans,supervisesand evaluatescareof each patient/resident.The RN ensures that the status of the patient/resident condition is effectively communicated to the physician.

RN:

• PLUS $2.00 per hour PM and $2.50 per hour NOC shift differentials

Weekend Warrior Program – choose one of the following 3 levels:

• base hourly wage +$5.00/hour (every other weekend)
• Pro Level: base hourly wage +$7.00/hour (3 weekends per month)
• PLUS shift differentials - $2.00 per hour PM shift and $2.50 per hour NOC shift
