EyeCare Partners seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-Op / PACU / OR in Grand Rapids, MI 49525. The role entails direct patient care in the operating room, PACU and post-anesthesia environments with no late nights, weekends, holidays or on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to assess, prioritize, plan and implement patient care in an effective manner.
• Ability to respond to emergent situations.

• Maintains effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established standards.
• Participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.
• Supervises and directs patient care in an operating room and collaborates with the surgical team.
• Follows HIPAA regulations and patient rights.
• Performs duties in an ethical and legal manner within the scope of the license.
• Assists in training new staff and coordinates with other departments as needed.
