Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a dedicated RN or LPN Weekend Supervisor to join Aviata at Shoal Creek in Crestview, FL. You will supervise nursing staff and manage weekend staffing to ensure high-quality resident care on the assigned unit.

Responsibilities include conducting admission data collection, developing treatment plans, recruiting staff, ensuring documentation compliance, and maintaining resident rights adherence. Weekend scheduling is Fri-Sun, 7a-7p.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in a setting serving similar resident population.
• Minimum 1 year experience in nursing administration.

Work Schedule - Friday-Sunday (7a-7p)

Aviata Health Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN or LPN Weekend Supervisor to join our team at Aviata at Shoal Creek. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the staffing needs and providing supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unit.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care
• Assist in staff development and provide guidance to Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants
• Conduct and document a complete data collection of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout the resident's course of treatment
• Assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident
• Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies
• Must complete Preceptor Training
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN or LPN
• Minimum (3) years nursing experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility
• Minimum one (1) year experience in nursing administration
• Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
