Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking an RN or LPN for the Surgical Inpatient Unit. This full-time night shift (7pm–7am) offers a sign-on for experienced external candidates and requires current Indiana license and BLS. The unit handles post-surgical care across a range of procedures in a 32-bed setting.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience in surgical inpatient units preferred.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. **About the Unit:**Surgical Inpatient Services also known as SIPS is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients. LPNs and RNs work with a variety of surgical patients including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and care for higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician’s office.
