Job summary

Harborview Health Systems seeks an RN/LPN Staff Development Coordinator to lead education and training within our Florida facility. You will support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing competency programs to ensure our team provides compliant, compassionate care.

This role partners with nursing leadership to identify educational needs, deliver orientation, maintain training records, and oversee continuing education credits.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.

• Assist with hiring and onboarding of new staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver orientation, ongoing education and training for all team members.
• Ensure staff competencies are maintained through in-service programs and skills assessments.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify and address educational needs.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Support the Director of Nursing and leadership team with other assigned duties.
