Job summary

WesleyLife in Pella, IA invites a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents at The Cottages and Hearthstone. You’ll perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, medication administration, and develop individualized care plans as part of a collaborative health care team.

This role includes both day and night shifts, full-time, part-time or PRN. WesleyLife offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• State of Iowa RN or LPN license
• LTC experience preferred but not required
• Night Shift, 6:00p-6:30a Full Time or Part Time
• Day Shift, 6:00a-6:30p Full Time or Part Time
• PRN

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and developing individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
