Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Registered Nurse to float between Florham Park and East Hanover Internal / Family Medicine offices. You will welcome patients, coordinate care, and provide medications and education, ensuring a seamless and compassionate patient experience.

The role emphasizes phlebotomy, point‑of‑care testing, and collaboration with providers to support high-quality care. RN license required and BLS preferred with 90 days to obtain.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an RN.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and prepares patients for their appointment and provides clear information about services.
• Provides medication administration as directed by the Provider and documents patient interactions.
• Performs point-of-care laboratory tests and EKGs and assists with phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Records vital signs, histories and screenings; supports patient education on medications and diet.
• Maintains clean and prepared treatment rooms and equipment; supports quality controls.
