Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Registered Nurse - Operating Room to deliver coordinated nursing care for surgical patients, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate care with the surgical team using clinical judgment and professional discretion.

You will collect patient data, develop and implement care plans, participate in discharge planning, and delegate duties to team members to maintain a safe, healing environment in the operating room.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues; develops a plan with interventions.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, healing care and to educate the patient and family.

Job Summary

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Key Responsibilities
