Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will monitor recovery, administer medications, and coordinate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the applicable state, CPR/BLS certification, and demonstrates strong assessment and critical thinking under pressure. BSN is preferred, with a focus on quality patient recovery.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice (Required).
• CPR/BLS certification (Required).
• 1+ year acute care or PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects pertinent data related to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyzes data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develops and implements a care plan to achieve outcomes.
• Coordinates care delivery with the surgical team and other disciplines.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and updates the care plan as needed.

Job Summary

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgement.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
• Acute care facility experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (Required)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification (Required)
