Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking an experienced perioperative nurse to provide perioperative care for inpatients undergoing various surgical procedures. The nurse will scrub and/or circulate, maintain sterile technique, and coordinate care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

Qualifications include RN license, BLS, and nursing degree; CNOR preferred. 1-2 years OR experience preferred. On-site role in Arizona with strong infection control and documentation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of practice (Arizona).
• BLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• 1–2 years operating room nursing experience preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room, including instruments, supplies, and equipment for scheduled procedures.
• Functions as scrub or circulating nurse, maintaining sterile technique throughout surgery.
• Performs surgical counts and ensures accurate documentation of instruments, sponges, and devices.
• Monitors patient status and anticipates surgeon and anesthesia needs during procedures.
• Coordinates with pre-op and PACU staff to ensure safe patient handoff and continuity of care.
• Documents intraoperative care and maintains compliance with infection control standards.
