Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an Registered Nurse for Cardiovascular Operating Room to deliver specialized perioperative care for CABG, valve repair/replacement, and other open-heart surgeries. You will function as scrub and/or circulating nurse, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative period.

Required RN license and nursing degree, with preferred 2+ years in OR or cardiovascular surgery.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required).
• Minimum 2 years of OR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the cardiovascular OR and equipment such as bypass and perfusion systems.
• Acts as scrub or circulating nurse during open-heart and other cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintains sterile field and accurate instrument, sponge, and needle counts.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and responds to changes in patient status during surgery.
• Coordinates with perfusionists, anesthesia and surgical team to support safe bypass and recovery.
• Documents intraoperative care and patient response in the medical record.

Job Summary

Delivers specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, and other open-heart surgeries. Functions as scrub and/or circulating nurse within the cardiovascular operating room, working closely with the surgical team to ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative period.

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of OR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required)
• CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification (Preferred)
