Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced perioperative nurse to provide specialized care before, during, and after surgical procedures in the Operating Room. You will prep patients, coordinate with the surgical team, monitor status, and maintain a sterile environment to ensure safe care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1-2 years of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with surgical procedures and perioperative patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures and verify required documentation and safety checks.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures and provide appropriate nursing support.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and response to medications or procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Maintain appropriate aseptic and infection control practices throughout the surgical process.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate documentation and ensure proper patient handoff and post-operative care.

Education & Experience

Licenses & Certifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

BLS certification required.

ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.

CNOR certification preferred.
