Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO, is hiring a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the Oncology Progressive department. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with day shifts (0700-1930) at Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO.

This position offers experienced RN incentives including sign-on bonuses up to $10,000, no contract, and bridging programs to advance from ASN to BSN and BSN to MSN (up to $16,000 each).

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS certification or course completed within 30 days of hire.

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Other: Physical requirements/demands:
  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
