Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident to provide direct patient care in Oncology Progressive. You will apply the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments to ensure quality outcomes.

This full-time (36 hours/week) day shift (0700-1930) role offers strong incentives and pathways for professional growth within Mercy's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Maintain RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support or equivalent within 30 days of hire.
• Other: Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for long periods.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Other: Physical requirements/demands:
  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
