Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Radiation Oncology Clinic at Mercy Cancer Center. You will provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

The role requires graduate nursing education, an active RN license (state or compact), and certifications as specified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successfully completed within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the listed certifications may be required depending on unit.
• Maintenance of active licensure and certifications as required by state and department.

Hours/Schedule: Full-Time (36-hrs per week)

Shift: Days

Department: Radiation Oncology Clinic @ Mercy Cancer Center

Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Physical Requirements/demands

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Experience

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
• Other unit-specific certifications as required.
