Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the United States.
• Minimum of 3 years perioperative nursing experience, preferably in an operating room setting.
• BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile technique.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operating room schedules and ensure staff/equipment availability.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize workflow.
• Monitor infection control and safety standards in the OR.
• Assist orientation and training of new perioperative staff.
• Manage documentation for procedures, staffing, and equipment usage.
• Respond to emergencies during surgeries to minimize disruption.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance patient safety and efficiency.
