Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as OR Circulator in a high-volume surgical service. The role covers preop through post-op care, with 11am–7:30pm shifts and rotating on-call responsibilities to meet call requirements.

Core specialties include General, Orthopedic/Spinal, Cardiovascular, Urologic, Gynecologic, ENT, and Neurological procedures. Requires RN licensure and acute-care nursing exposure. A supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN license and active State Licensure
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred
• OR Circulator experience or related perioperative nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and organizational policies.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document administration accurately.
• Scrub in for surgeries, maintain sterile environment, and support the surgical team.
• Document patient care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
• Engage in infection control practices and safety initiatives.
