Job summary

USPI St Josephs Outpatient Surgery Center in Phoenix seeks a RN OR Circulator for a full-time role. The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires operating room experience and RN licensure.

You will provide perioperative care, collaborate with surgeons, and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Responsibilities include planning and implementing care, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed RN in the state.
• CPR and Advanced Life Support certifications required.
• At least one year of intraoperative nursing experience.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing the duties.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status in the OR.
• Ensure correct site, side and level; perform counts and protect against infection.
• Collaborate with physicians and team; communicate patient status across care continuum.
• Document nursing care and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Delegate tasks per the state Nurse Practice Act and job descriptions.
