Job summary

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Operating Room RN for full-time status. You will provide nursing care during surgery, position and prep patients, and circulate cases.

Ideal candidates have OR experience, Arizona RN license, CPR/ACLS, and the ability to work in a team while maintaining infection control. This role offers comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.
• Current Arizona Nursing License.
• Current CPR, ACLS certified.
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
• Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the young adult, adult and geriatric patient.

Responsibilities

• The Operating Room RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
• Responsible for helping our surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs, under the direction of a RN.
