Qualifications

• RN license in the state.
• CPR and ACLS are required.
• At least 1 year intraoperative experience.
• Demonstrates clinical competency and leadership.
• Physically and emotionally capable of duties.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients at intervals per policies.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Implement the plan and protect patients from injury or retained objects.
• Ensure procedure is performed on the correct site and side.
• Manage specimens appropriately.
• Communicate patient status throughout the continuum of care.
