Job summary

USPI Audubon Surgery Center at St Francis in Colorado Springs seeks an OR Circulator Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced ASC. No call, weekends or holidays; 10-hour shifts available.

The OR RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all age patients in the operating room, following nursing standards and Center policies. CPR and ACLS are required, licensing in state or compact license preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state, or possess a compact license.
• Compact licenses must obtain state license within 90 days of hire.
• CPR required, ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in operating room.
• Provides care within nursing standards of practice and Center policies; communicates information to physicians, patients, family and other departments.

Job Summary

Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room and/or Director of Nursing, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.

Hourly Range

$36-$54 (based on experience)
