Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Surgical Nurse with robotic and trauma experience for a 13-week contract. The role involves performing surgical nursing duties in a fast-paced OR, supporting robotic procedures, and managing trauma cases across multiple specialties.

The candidate should have at least 3 years RN experience, travel nursing background, and an active RN license with BLS. Epic charting experience is preferred. ARMStaffing will assist with housing, benefits, and relocation needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years RN experience, with Level I trauma experience preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Proficient in robotic surgical procedures and able to function independently in multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with robotic surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi and DV5 systems, functioning independently in all specialties.

Job Description

The Surgical Nurse will provide exceptional nursing care within the operating room, specializing in robotic surgical procedures and trauma care. The candidate will be part of a fast-paced surgical team and must demonstrate proficiency in various surgical specialties including general, gynecological, urological, orthopedic, bariatric, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac), and trauma surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical nursing duties efficiently and safely in a high-volume operating room environment.
• Assist with robotic surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi and DV5 systems, functioning independently in all specialties.
