Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced OR RN for an oncology surgery specialty in Omaha, NE. The role requires 2 years of OR nursing, license, BLS, and preferred ACLS, with a focus on oncology and general surgery cases.
Position includes 13 weeks, day and night 12-hour shifts, flexible float, and unit-specific call obligations. Epic charting proficiency is needed, with travel acceptance and distance criteria for non-local candidates.

Description:
MUST HAVE Oncology Surgery experience along with general surgery experience.
Float is required.
Minimum level 2 trauma experience is required, with level 1 experience strongly preferred.
Candidates should be well-rounded as they will be working outside their specialty.
Bi-weekly orientation for Operating Room RN will primarily be day shift with a possible night shift rotation.
There may be 1-3 off-shift assignments in a week once every 4-week scheduling period, though many times off-shifting may not be required.
Weeknight call requirements are approximately 1-2 nights per week.
Weekend call requirements are approximately every 4-5 weeks, requiring 24 hours of coverage on Saturday or Sunday, totaling 1-2 days per month.
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
Experience with a majority of the following cases is required:
Whipple, Esophagectomy, Ex Lap, Bowel resection, Thyroidectomy, Parathyroidectomy, Adrenalectomy-Laparoscopic, Neck dissection, Breast reduction, Stage one and two breast reconstruction, Free Flaps, Mastectomy, Lumpectomy, Sentinel lymph node biopsy, and Melanoma excisions.
DaVinci experience is highly preferred.
Oncology, Orthopedic, and Neurological experience are highly preferred.

Charting system experience with Epic is required.
Do not submit if there are license hits related to Radiology or Respiratory.
Weekend and holiday requirements are unit-dependent.
