Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in New Orleans for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves circulating across multiple surgical specialties, including pediatric ophthalmology, with on-call rotation possible.

A minimum of 3 years' circulator experience and EPIC proficiency are required, along with an active compact or state RN license and BLS. On-site day shifts, 8-hour blocks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of circulator experience required.
• Experience in ophthalmology (adult & pediatric), pediatric orthopedics, pediatric general, and pediatric ENT is necessary.
• Prior charge experience preferred.
• Compact or state license required upon submission.
• BLS certification required.
• AWHONN Intermediate certification is required for L&D nurses.
• CPI certification required for ER nurses.
• EPIC experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Circulating for various surgical specialties, including pediatric and ophthalmology cases.
• Comfortable working in emergency situations when assigned.
• On-call rotation to be discussed during the interview.
• Travelers should have all necessary certifications and an updated NURSYS report.
• Candidates with less than the required years of experience or first-time travelers will not be considered.
• The position may require flexibility in scheduling and being part of an on-call rotation.
