Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for an OR assignment in North Carolina. This 13-week contract features day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week, with on-call nights, weekends, and holidays. Must reside outside a 50-mile radius and have at least 3 years of hospital experience.

Active RN license is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Meditech charting experience is preferred and will support patient care across the perioperative team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to admission to the operating room and address biophysical, psychosocial, environmental and discharge planning factors

Description:5x8 shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.40 hours per week.On-call requirement includes nights, weekends, and holidays.On-call is typically 1 night per week.2-3 weekend shifts are required every 6-week schedule.Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius.Responsible for assessing each individual patient upon admission to the operating room, addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, discharge planning factors, and support for significant others/family as appropriate.Conduct ongoing assessments and identify patient needs/problems for nursing interventions.Develop individualized nursing care plans that meet the identified needs of each patient in the intraoperative setting.
