Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an OR RN to join our operating room team in Dalton, GA for a 13-week assignment. Work is day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a busy surgical census and opportunities for call shifts as needed.

Candidates should have active nursing licensure, BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years of OR experience. Travel experience is a plus, and there is a 60-mile radius rule for locals.

Description:This position involves working in the operating room with a schedule of 5 shifts per week, each lasting 8 hours.The role requires 1-2 nights of call per week and 1-2 weekends of call per month, with possible holiday call.Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of operating room experience.Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.Active BLS certification is required.The applicant must be willing to adhere to a 60-mile radius rule, as locals are not eligible.The unit provides care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.The daily surgical census includes approximately 30 cases.Essential skills include lobe resection, lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and various orthopedic procedures.The candidate should be knowledgeable in fire safety, infection control, and universal protocol procedures.Participation in interdisciplinary support activities is part of the job requirements.Call requirements include 2 weekdays per week and 1 weekend per month.A supervisory reference is required for application submission.
