Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, West Virginia.

The ideal candidate has minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in the OR, and WV or Compact RN licensure.

Shifts are 3x12 hour days; 9:00 AM–9:00 PM or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM. Weekend call is expected; influenza vaccination is mandated unless exempt.

Proficiency in vascular, orthopedic, general, ENT, urology, robotic and gynecologic procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have cardiac or general surgery experience.
• Must have circulator and scrub experience.
• Proficient in vascular, orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, urology, robotic and gynecological procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room Registered Nurse with OR experience.
• Travelers must be within 100 miles of the facility and able to work 3x12 shifts.
• Shifts are 9:00 AM–9:00 PM or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM with weekend on-call.
• Influenza vaccination is mandated unless a medical exemption is provided.
• Background checks and references required; orientation every other week.

Description:Operating Room Registered Nurse needed.Candidates without cardiovascular or general surgery experience will not be considered.3x12 Days shifts available.Shift times 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM.Weekend call is expected as part of the schedule.Limit holiday requests to one of the three major holidays.Orientation sessions held every other week.Average daily census of 22 cases in the OR.Proficiency in various surgical procedures is required.Prior experience in cardiac and general surgery cases is essential.Call requirement is one day per week with additional weekend coverage.A 30-minute response time is expected when on call.Travelers must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility.Background references within the past two years are required.Documentation must be submitted in a timely manner.Influenza vaccination is mandated unless a medical exemption is provided.Candidates must comply with all stated requirements for consideration.
