Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Operating Room assignment in Augusta, Georgia. This 13-week role supports orthopedic and general surgery cases in a high-volume OR environment with 1:1 patient care. Shift is 18:30–17:00, 36 hours per week.

A valid RN license is required, with BLS preferred. Candidates should have at least 2 years of RN experience and a strong teamwork mindset to thrive in a collaborative surgical team.

Qualifications

• Orthopedic experience in major joint procedures.
• Experience in general surgery, urology (open and cysto), and minor vascular procedures.
• Experience in major vascular procedures is a plus.
• Active Nursing License required; BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate in the Main Operating Room with a 1:1 patient ratio.
• Support scheduling with 4–5 call shifts every 4 weeks and weekend rotation.
• Floating to assist in other areas when ORs are shut down.
• Collaborate with OR staff, surgical techs, and board runners; maintain high teamwork and punctuality.

Description:This role is located in the Main Operating Room.There are 13 operating rooms available in this facility.Patient ratios are 1:1.The unit is staffed by RNs, surgical techs, support staff, and board runners.The type of equipment includes Stryker Ortho systems, Stryker lap towers, DIV Xi robots, and Mako Navigation.The documentation system in use is MEDITECH.

Scheduling requirements include 4-5 call shifts every 4 weeks and a weekend rotation.There is no set schedule, but it is reasonable.Floating to assist in other areas is required if the operating rooms are shut down, with internal floating prioritized.
