Job summary

RN - OR at Cynet HealthStaff is a weekend-focused contract for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The role requires a valid state RN license and at least 1 year of OR experience, with BLS and CNOR preferred.

Shifts are 3x12-hour days, with 12-hour shifts and a 1:1 patient ratio. The nurse will circulate and assist in orthopedic and neurosurgical cases, including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries, and may float to other facilities as needed.

Description:This position is for weekend coverage consisting of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.The nurse will be responsible for circulating a wide variety of urgent and emergent cases, including orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures.An expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1.The nurse must be fully competent in all neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries.Weekend work is required as part of the job.The candidate may be required to cover any additional needs within the department.Reference checks will be conducted.Additional skills required include proficiency in various surgical procedures such as appendectomy, hysterectomy, and laparoscopic procedures.The operating room is a fast-paced environment that requires effective teamwork and communication.The position may require occasional floating to other facilities if needed.Emergency response capabilities and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this role.
