Atrium Health University City in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced nurse leader to supervise hospital operations, optimize patient flow, and uphold safety and quality standards across units.

You will coordinate with nursing staff, physicians, and administrators, respond to inquiries during on-call events, and promote a safe environment while maintaining clinical competency and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• BSN required; if not BSN, enrollment in BSN within 1 year and completion within 3 years.
• BLS certification required within policy; CPI certification within 90 days; professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates administrative problems and actions to nurse leaders and Administrator-On-Call.
• Rounds on all units to assess efficiency and satisfaction among patient-care teammates.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal laws governing healthcare services and Nursing Practice Act.
• Coordinates shift management of patient flow and throughput with interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervises nursing staff performance, identifies issues, initiates corrective action and documents actions.
• Assists with appropriate utilization of resources to meet patient care needs.
• Promotes a safe environment and maintains clinical and professional competency in supervision of patient care.
