Job summary

WK Medical Center in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Surgical Services Operations Coordinator. This full-time, day-shift role partners with the Patient Care Coordinator to streamline Surgical Services operations, oversee OR staffing, equipment, and room efficiency.

Required RN licensure in Louisiana; 3 years Surgical Services experience preferred, BSN and CNOR preferred. No remote work; standard Monday–Friday schedule in an Allied Health setting.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in Louisiana is required.
• BSN and CNOR are preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Patient Care Coordinator to increase operational efficiency of Surgical Services.
• Oversee daily operations of the Operating Room by helping manage staff, equipment, and room efficiency.
