Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN is seeking a Peri-Operative Registered Nurse to serve as OR Circulator/Scrub. In this role you will provide critical leadership and direct patient care within the operating room, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and techs, while ensuring safety and compliance with AORN standards.

You must have ACLS and BLS certifications within specified timelines and an active Minnesota RN license; prior OR experience preferred.

A Day in the Life of an RN - Operating Room Circulator/Scrub

As a Peri-Operative Registered Nurse at our facility, you will provide critical leadership and direct patient care within the operating room, ensuring all procedures adhere to established AORN standards for safety and efficiency. Your duties will encompass everything from pre-operative assessments and care planning to actively circulating and coordinating in the OR, involving close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists. Challenges include managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict compliance regulations, and maintaining meticulous documentation for billing and inventory purposes. The role requires both independent and team-oriented work, often involving delegated projects to enhance departmental operations and outcomes.

QualificationsEducation and Experience

Required

• American Heart Association ACLS certification within 4 months of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Current Minnesota RN license

Preferred

• Prior operating room experience

The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience as an RN. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
