Qualifications

• One year operating room experience.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel.
• ACLS and BLS certification required or as requested by clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR nursing care as scrub or circulating nurse.
• Maintain sterile technique and OR protocols.
• Support surgeon and team with efficient patient handoffs.
• Travel to assignment locations and adapt to facility workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of recent operating room experience
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Other certificates may be required by the client. Ex: CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse)

Other Skills Required:

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in high-stress environments and respond quickly in emergencies
• Proficient in sterile technique and OR protocols
• Ability to serve as scrub or circulating nurse during procedures
• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and surgical team
• Ability to transfer patients to recovery and provide hand off communication
