Job summary

Vibra Travels LLC is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our expanding network of healthcare travelers. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused professionals with hospital experience who want to travel the country and contribute to life-changing procedures.

Minimum qualifications include 1 year OR experience, an active RN license in the employment state, and an active driver’s license.

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from Vibra Travels-approved vendor; AHA preferred for some clients

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of recent operating room experience
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Other certifications may be required by the client. Ex: CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse)

Other Skills Required:

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in high-stress environments and respond quickly in emergencies
• Proficient in sterile technique and OR protocols
• Ability to serve as scrub or circulating nurse during procedures
• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and surgical team
• Ability to transfer patients to recovery and provide hand off communication
• Strong documentation skills using EMR
