Job summary

Avera Cancer Institute Hematology, Transplant and Cellular Therapy clinic in Sioux Falls is seeking registered nurses (RN) and licensed practical nurses (LPN) to join a day-shift team. The role includes coordinating patient care, rooming, vitals, scheduling, and assisting procedures within the clinic. RNs may receive up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus; LPNs up to $6,000.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with 80 hours every two weeks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in state of practice.
• Ability to perform essential nursing duties and prioritise patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care and administer medications per nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during procedures and examinations.
• Observe and report patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Coordinate clinic patient flow, scheduling, and triage phone calls.
• Greet patients, obtain health histories, take vitals, and perform nursing assessments.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, nutrition, and wellness.
