Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider.
• Oversees appointment scheduling and ensures priority for emergencies; maintains patient flow.
• Greets patients, collects health history, takes vitals, and documents in patient chart.
• Educates patients and families about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition, and wellness.
