We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, advocate for patient wellbeing, and demonstrate robust clinical skills in oncology nursing.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as prescribed.
• Provide care for patients requiring blood product transfusions.
• Perform central line and mediport access and lab draws.
• Conduct CHG baths and change central line dressings.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options and care procedures.

Required Experience & Certifications & Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (Temp License is NOT accepted)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in oncology nursing.
• Experience with mediports, PICCs, and central lines required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Chemotherapy Certification is preferred.
• Experience with Meditech documentation is preferred.
