Description:Start dates: Friday start is all virtual orientation, will report onsite Monday.RN Oncology; ONC and Chemo preferred, not required.Ratios: Average 1:4.First-timers accepted.Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.On-call requirement: No.Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required.Open to accommodating block schedule.RTO greater than 7 days and/or holiday requires approval.Daily census: 27 patients.Patient diagnoses include solid tumor cancers.Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams.Special procedures in the unit include hospice/palliative care and chemotherapy/biotherapy administration.Return staff policy: Must be gone 2 years to return as traveler.Modules are non-billable and completed pre-start and annually, varying by specialty.
