ARMStaffing is seeking a Pediatric Oncology Infusion Clinic RN for a 13-week contract in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on caring for pediatric patients undergoing chemotherapy and related treatments, including line care and precise med administration.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in pediatric oncology, SC RN licensure (or compact), and BLS/PALS/APHON certifications. A floating assignment across two departments may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric oncology nursing experience.
• Current South Carolina RN license or compact license.
• BLS, PALS, and APHON certifications required.
• Experience monitoring and administering chemotherapy.
• Ability to float between two departments as needed.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM). No weekend or on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Pediatric Oncology Infusion Clinic RN will provide specialized nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing chemotherapy and other related treatments. The position requires monitoring and administering chemotherapy, caring for central lines, and symptom management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer chemotherapy treatments.
• Provide care and management for central lines and ports.
• Perform pediatric dosage calculations and ensure accurate medication administration.
• Maintain infection prevention protocols and follow isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support services.
• Provide patient education and symptom management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric oncology nursing.
• Current South Carolina RN license or compact nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, and APHON.
• Experience in monitoring and administering chemotherapy.
• Must be able to float between two departments based on facility needs.
