Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse - Oncology for a full-time day shift in Pennsylvania. You will provide professional oncology nursing care, adhere to standards of practice, and support treatment plans while collaborating closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other clinicians to ensure safe, quality patient care across the continuum.

The role requires at least 1 year of oncology experience, an active PA RN license, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of oncology experience.
• Must have either the bio/chemo course or fundamentals course from ONS, or be able to complete within 2 weeks of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Current certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in an oncology setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on care protocols and health management.
• Engage with the healthcare team for effective patient coordination.
• Maintain patient safety and knowledge of common safety hazards.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, Day Shift (Hours as early as 0700-1530 to as late as 0830-1700). No weekends or holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide professional nursing care to patients with a focus on oncology. The RN will follow established standards and best practices in the delivery of care, demonstrating competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care, and assisting providers in patient care and education. This role involves active participation in the healthcare team to coordinate patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the healthcare team for effective patient coordination.
• Maintain patient safety and knowledge of common safety hazards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
