Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) in Canton, GA for a contract assignment. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in oncology nursing, active RN licensure, and current BLS certification.

Shift structure is 10 hours, days, four days per week, with holiday expectations as specified. The hired nurse will provide care in a radiation oncology setting, coordinate treatment plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a radiation oncology setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessments and coordinate treatment plans in accordance with protocols.
• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes and aftercare.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience.

Holiday Expectations

Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
