Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Oncology unit in Dallas, TX. This 13-week contract position offers a fixed schedule and the opportunity to deliver high-quality cancer care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will administer treatments, monitor patients, perform sterile dressing changes, manage ports/central lines as needed, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure protocol adherence and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention.
• Familiarity with blood and electrolyte replacement protocols.
• General medical oncology understanding; ports/central lines knowledge preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology unit. This unit provides specialized care to patients undergoing treatment for various types of cancer. You will be integral in delivering high-quality nursing care, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood and electrolyte replacement daily.
• Perform sterile dressing changes in compliance with infection prevention protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.

• Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention.
